Jack wins a place against the seniors…
Sea angler Jack Reynolds of Worlebury continued his fine run of form when he fished in the Bristol Channel Fishing Aust Bank Series third match in South Gloucestershire. The 13-year-old was up against serious senior anglers in the region.
Although the weather was good the fish did not want to bite. Thirty seven anglers competed in the competition but only ten actually registered a fish. Jack fishing in Zone B again pulled it out of the bag by landing two eels with a combined length of 73cm.
This gave him the second place in in the zone. Overall he was third on the day winning himself £65. A very creditable performance from such a young fisherman when you consider the opposition that he was up against.
Jack was using a Zziplex Primo Match sea fishing rod with an Infinity 8000 reel. He was using his own constructed rigs with worm bait.

A good peg draw helped James to this win and he gave special thanks to Jack for pulling him out peg 1. In second place was Dia Loder.
